Travel Magazine Editorial Design
This project was created as a travel guide and printed on newsprint. The brief stated it was to be designed for an "upper-class" and "higher-end audience" and could focus on any city. The city I chose was Kyoto, Japan. I decided to design the magazine to be read right to left, like traditional Japanese texts. The project focused on layout, so the type and pictures are all sited within the magazine. I designed the page layouts and covers, chose the pictures, and set all the type in Indesign using paragraph and character styles.
