This football infographic project was created for a school assignment that required at least three different types of graphs with clear, readable data, designed to be featured as a magazine spread. As a big football fan, I chose to focus on the types of playing surfaces in the NFL and the injury rates associated with each.

To support this concept, I designed the spread to resemble a football field, using a grass texture I created in Adobe Illustrator for both end zones. Since the spread is focused on data from the NFL I decided to use their branding as found within their brand guidlines on their website.

I compiled the data in a way that tells a story as you move through the spread, with each graph providing insight into the differences between grass and turf. The result is an informative and visually engaging layout that highlights the impact of playing surfaces on the players safety.
